Faith Fridays - A Sociology Lesson from Surah Yusuf by Sheikh Sajid Umar [VIDEO]

Every Friday we hope to bring you a khutbah or short lecture in English that we feel may be of benefit to you. Think of it as a weekly khutbah from a different perspective. All you need to do is spend 30 minutes (or less) a week to learn something new.

If you have any suggestions on a video that we should share please send us an email via "Write for Us".

Jummah Mubarak!

If you don't already know Young Muslims Project have something big planned as we gear up to the best time of the year, Ramadhan! This weeks segment is a teaser for our first event. I won't say anything more just that you have to stay tuned to watch.

Surah Yusuf is personally one of my favourite chapters in the Qur'an. It's one of the easier chapters to read because it's like a story being told. There are so many lessons to be learned from this chapter that AlKauthar Institute has a whole course on it that's incidentally going to be in Kuala Lumpur next weekend

This particular lesson is about the analogy of the sun, the moon and the stars, and family dynamics.

Salam, which event are you talking about? If you are referring to AlKauthar's course then I suggest you get in touch with them directly. YMP sometimes collaborates with AlKauthar but we are not involved in the planning of this course. Hope that helps.
